How to get your vehicle listed on our website for free:

1.  Be an Austin Autohaus customer.

2.  Decide to sell your vehicle (It does not have to be a Mercedes-Benz!).

3.  Own/borrow a digital camera.

What to do:

1.  Clean your vehicle thoroughly (Clean sells!)

     *  The best idea is to shovel out the large objects and spend $100-150 to have the exterior washed/waxed, the interior cleaned/carpeting steam cleaned, and the engine compartment cleaned/treated.  

2.  Determine how much you want for your vehicle.

     *You will be considered a private party selling at private party value (i.e. Ignore what dealerships and car lots are asking for their vehicles.)

     *  See our "Links" page for car value websites.  Some of the sites are created specifically for valuing your vehicle, other sites are vehicles for sale.  On the sites with vehicles for sale, look up your year, make, model, and mileage to see what other people are asking for their vehicle.

      *  If you want to sell your vehicle quickly, look at ALL the sites on our "Links" page.  WARNING:  Most people have an over inflated idea of what their vehicle is worth.  Consider ALL the values you see and take an average to determine how much your vehicle is worth. 

      *  Set a fair price and be prepared to negotiate. 

3.  Send us pictures of your vehicle.

     *  Don't be shy!  We would like to see your vehicle from the front, rear, both sides, inside the trunk, inside the engine compartment, inside the front passenger compartment, inside the rear passenger compartment, and dashboard and console area.

     *  Keep it simple.  For dark colored vehicles, find a solid, light colored background.  For light colored vehicles, find a solid, dark colored background. 

     *  Email these pictures to staff@austinautohaus.com.

4.  Send us a description of your vehicle.

    *  Even though we may know your vehicle well, give us a list of all the highlights of your vehicle.  Please include the mileage, any known defects, asking price, and the best way to contact you (Phone and/or email).

   *  We will not give out your contact information, we will have interested parties contact us and we will pass along their information.

5.  That's it!

     *  We will list your vehicle on our website for free.  When we are contacted concerning your vehicle, we will refer them to you.
